-----

Released in 2003 exclusively for Little Switzerland Dolls, the doll and goat are numbers 172 in the limited edition of 250 dolls. The set comes in 2 boxes: 1 for the doll and 1 for the goat.

The doll measures approximately 18" tall to top of hat. He has hand-painted, blue-green eyes with white accents and red eyelining around the top and inner corner of his eyes. He has a golden blonde, spikey wig with bangs under a blue felt hat with brown leather accent with gold buckle on the trim. NOTE: There are 2 faint spots on the back that might be intentional distressing.

He is wearing a green gauzey, wooden-button, collared shirt with a red felt tied scarf at the neck. His short overalls (past the knees) are made of brown felt with straps that cross in the back and tie at the back waist with thin leather twine. His chest piece on the overalls has blue squares with green, which matches the shirt, trimming. The shorts on the overalls have a wooden button in the front with a front drop-piece that is accented with maroon felt and metal buttons and the same greenish trim. On the side of the bottom of the shorts is more leather twine. He is wearing a green felt jacket lined with green gingham; the jacket has leather buttons and a pleated opening in the back. His paper tag reads 172/250; below the tag is the RJW brass button. He has a cross-body leather bag with a gold buckle that contains a dark green calico print material over faux stuffing. His feet are bare and he has intentionally dirty soles. The picture sticker on the top of the red box is in great condiition, having been covered with a white cardboard protective cover, however, the end sticker is peeling at the top corners. There is also slight fading on the boxes.

The goat has green glass eyes with black pupils. His horns are a textured and airbrushed taupe grey as are his hooves. His ears are lined with pink airbrushed felt. His fur is mohair with a long white beard under his chin. He is wearing a leather collar with gold hardware. The RJW brass button is on his right rump near the tail.

NOTE: The last photo is from the R John Wright website and is not of the doll or goat for rehoming.
