11 1/2" (29 cm.) Each has molded felt face with hand-painted facial features, brown eyes, shy expressions, swivel head, jointed at shoulders and hips, she with light brown mohair braids, wearing cotton dress with smocked bodice, socks, and brown leather sandals, carrying a miniature example of cloth lithographed American dolly; and he with side-parted blonde wispy hair, wearing striped jersey, brown felt pants, sandals, and carrying cloth lithographed Humpty Dumpty.
Part of the R John Wright Playtime Edition available to Collector Club members only, Milly has a sideways glance while Cole is staring straight ahead. Both have white accents on their hand-painted brown eyes; they have pink nostrils,lips, and tinted knees. Milly is wearing a calico cream dress with red apples; her smocked dress has 3 trees on the bodice. The dress has a rounded collar with red piping on the edges and on the sleeve ends; there is a red cloth bow at the neck center. The dress closes in the back with 2 buttons. She is wearing a white slip with ruffle at the hem, white cotton panties, white slouch socks, and brown leather sandals. Her paper tag and brass button are on the back of her dress.
Cole is wearing deep maroon felt shorts with shoulder straps that cross and button in the back. Under the shorts jumper, he is wearing a green and white striped long sleeve cotton jersey. He wears no socks but Mary Jane style felt shoes. His paper tag and brass button are on the back of his shorts.
The dolls are in green boxes. NOTE: Cole's box has more wear on the exterior including 1 corner of the label starting to peel. The top lid also has some grey smudges; see second to last photo for smudges on lid.
