Always wanting to use black felt for a dramatic effect, Maggie has combined the iridescent colors of a butterfly and created the ultimate party dress.
Marlo is the new young teen body sculpted by Maggie for 2012. She is ball jointed at the hips, shoulders, elbow and head. Her wrists and fingers are poseable as well.
Marlo's outfit combines wool felt and silk like it has never been used before. Each of the thirteen butterfly wings that make up her outfit have been colored iridescently by Maggie herself, then stitched to bring the outfit to life.
The silk embroidered long sleeve top shimmers and reflects the colors and shade of her winged skirt. Textured leather ankle strapped shoes complete the outfit.
Marlo's curls are mohair.
