Trapunto technique in the face to lift the nose. Features created with acrylic paint, pigma pen, Prisma color pencils. Lips, eyebrows, lids, flair of nostrils and fingernails hand stitched with Gutterman’s and Sulky thread. Highlight and shadow create depth. Hair is rusty brown mohair yarn, sewn and twisted and into a sculptural form. The skirt is cut work reverse applique with various fish moving in and out of the holes. Tall cone hat has hand stitched fish and various wool felt shapes. She holds a fish handbag. Dupioni silk shoes. She stands on a rectangular fabric shaped base with a wave motif border.
